About
Poster for Poetry International
Poetry International is an annual poetry festival in Rotterdam, that collaborate with the illustration students of Willem de Kooning Academie.
I got to choose a poet who was attending in 2025, whose work I would like to interpret and make a poster about.
I chose the Maltese poet Nadia Mifsud, whose poetry I wanted to illustrate by cutting out my motives from painted sheets of paper.
Here is my poster, and some of the process.
